#Abellreview : Popular L'Oreal Paris Micellar Water

by - March 26, 2018

May all of you have a good day!!!
Well, it's march already and like usual i would like to starting this month with a new post. :p
So this time i i came up with micellar water review. This's product is really popular!!
Since girls like make up of course "we" need a cleanser that can clean up all of it.

So How Does Micellar Water Work?

Micellar water may look a lot like toner, but it’s totally different type of facial cleanser. Micellar water is actually made up of tiny micelles—oil molecules—that are suspended in water. These teeny-tiny oil bubbles act like magnets, attracting makeup, dirt, and oil off and away from your complexion without ever having to suds up or turn on the sink!

Then Why's Micellar Water Became A Popular Facial Cleanser?

Well even though this facial cleanser has only become popular in the United States in the last few years, micellar water has been used by Parisians for a really long time—and for good reason. For starters, micellar water is one of the most convenient types of facial cleansers out there, since you don’t need to be anywhere near a sink to use it. Plus, it’s a multi-purpose facial cleanser—it cleanses skin and removes makeup in just one step. We told you micellar water was a lazy girl’s dream!
Now you know right why this micellar became popular?! hehehe....

This's L'oreal Micellar water 3 in 1 :
1. Cleanse
2. Remove Makeup
3. Soothe
Yep all of 3 above are included in one L'oreal Micellar Water. Really complete right!?
This's product suit for all type of skin oily skin, dry skin, or something in between.

Packaging:
The packaging quite good, as you can see that we can see the micellar water cause of the transpatent bottle, and since it made by plastic plus came in 250ml it's light and easy to bring along to travel or gym perhaps. You can see the ingredients in the back and expired date on the bottom of the packaging.
There're 2 type that you can choose : Pink for Moisturizing and Blue for Refreshing.

Differentiate between blue and pink?

The Pink one for sensitive skin

Despite the inclusion of rose in it, this variant does not contain any fragrance. Yeaaay!
Fragrance: X

When I look at the ingredients list and found damask rose extract in it, I kinda expected that it's gonna sting a bit for sensitive skin. It didn't really sting on my skin, but, despite its title that it's formulated for sensitive skin, it might sting a bit due to the presence of damask rose extract. I said it MIGHT so hopefully it doesn't sting on yours hehe
Enough talking about the packaging now we're moving to

The Blue one for sensitive , oily, combination skin

This one does not include plant extracts, so it's a more straightforward version. But contain Fresh Mountain Water. Like the rose one, this one is also fragrance-free. I hope more brands do this to their products, you know, not including fragrance. AMEN to that.
Fragrance: X

Since this one does not contain any suspicious ingredient, I predicted that it would feel like putting on water to my face, and I was right! It feels soo light, does not sting at all,
Stings/no: X

How To Use It?
First hold the cotton pad over closed eyes for a few seconds, then wipe (no rubbing necessary!). Next step is once you’re completely clean, don’t forget to apply a facial moisturizer.

Conclusions :
(+) One of the coolest things about micellar water is that you don’t need to rinse it off with water.
(+) This particular one will leave skin clean, soothed, and hydrated.
(+) Light and travel able
(+) Really clean up without wipe (some of others need it)
(+) Leave fresh feeling and not sticky in face

  1. too bad that you feel stinging sensation with the pink one! perhaps your skin can't tolerate rose extract? i'm kinda sad because rose is one of my favorite ingredients in skincare - it helps to soothe my annoying skin :( but thank God the blue one suits you so well ce 😍
